JobFlow Estimate & Invoice

Privacy Policy

Who we are

JobFlow Estimate & Invoice is developed by Nikita Skvazh for independent contractors and service professionals. Privacy and support contact: help@nick-handyman.com.

Website access

The web workspace currently provides a demonstration with fictional data. Live access is being prepared. When enabled, the website uses your existing JobFlow account and secure session cookies. AI permission applies separately to the signed-in browser session and can be withdrawn in Settings.

Accounts and structured project data

JobFlow stores working records on your device and uses an authenticated backend for accounts, Stripe connections, payment coordination, AI usage and cloud recovery. Account information may include your email, an Apple sign-in identifier and internal account/session identifiers. Structured backups can include client names, addresses and contact details, projects, tasks, estimates, invoices, payment entries, expense items and subcontractor details. Backups are linked to the signed-in JobFlow account.

Photos, files and company logos

Task before/after photos and receipt attachments remain on your device unless you enable optional Photos & Files synchronization in a supported version. When enabled, supported files are uploaded to private account storage for access from your other signed-in devices and the website. Disabling synchronization stops future transfers without deleting previously uploaded files. Cloud deletion keeps downloaded copies on devices. Structured recovery snapshots do not contain file bytes. Reinstalling or losing the device may remove files that have not been synchronized. Your company logo is stored separately with your JobFlow account so it can be restored. When you enable a branded payment link, the logo and business name may appear on the public JobFlow payment page. Anyone you give the payment link to can view that page.

AI features and OpenAI

If you choose an AI feature and allow processing, selected job descriptions, dictated voice recordings, photos, document files or receipt images/PDFs are sent through JobFlow servers to OpenAI to transcribe or create a draft. Estimate/invoice generation can also send item-library names, descriptions and labor/material prices. Only submit content you are permitted to share. These requests are processed in memory by the JobFlow upload route rather than saved as uploaded files on our server. Draft generation requests set store:false. This does not mean OpenAI has no provider-side security or abuse-monitoring retention. OpenAI handles transmitted data under its applicable API privacy terms. Generated drafts you save become part of your project data. AI usage counters and related request metadata are stored for account usage limits. Manual entry is available without AI processing.

Stripe and customer payments

Stripe processes connected-account onboarding, online card checkout and Tap to Pay on iPhone. Stripe may request identity, business, bank and payment details in its own interfaces. JobFlow stores Stripe account identifiers, onboarding status and invoice/payment coordination data, such as invoice number, total, outstanding amount, payment amount, method, date, status and transaction identifiers. JobFlow does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Payment links disclose the business name, invoice amount and payment purpose needed for checkout. Stripe mobile components may collect device characteristics and usage interactions for fraud prevention and product analytics. Stripe states this information is not used for advertising. Stripe maintains its own checkout branding; JobFlow does not update the connected account branding.

Apple subscriptions

JobFlow Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles billing and payment details. JobFlow checks subscription entitlements to enable Pro features. Shared Pro access, when enabled, uses Apple-signed transaction identifiers, product, expiry and account association to link a subscription to the same JobFlow account on iPhone and web. Verified Apple notifications update renewal, expiry and refund status. Stripe payments for customer jobs are separate from purchases of JobFlow Pro.

Permissions and notifications

Camera and photo-library access support selecting or capturing job and receipt photos. Microphone access supports dictated AI input. Stripe Terminal uses device location for eligible in-person payments and compliance. If you enable payment/invoice notifications, JobFlow and Expo/Apple use push-delivery identifiers and relevant notification information. You can control app permissions in iOS Settings and notification preferences in JobFlow. Declining optional AI or notification features does not require sharing that optional content.

Service providers and tracking

JobFlow uses Netlify to host its website and Railway for its backend infrastructure, Stripe for customer payments, OpenAI for requested AI processing, and Apple/Expo for platform functionality and notification delivery. We do not use advertising SDKs or the IDFA in the current app. We do not sell personal information for advertising or track users across other companies apps for advertising.

Retention and deletion

JobFlow keeps account-linked structured recovery data and company logos while the account is active, and currently retains up to five recent structured snapshots. In-app account deletion removes JobFlow cloud workspace backups, private synchronized files and account logos, revokes sessions and disables push delivery. It clears sign-in identifiers and prevents access to the deleted account. Certain payment, invoice coordination, usage, security or service-provider records may remain; account deletion is not a promise of immediate erasure of all financial/provider records. The connected Stripe account is not deleted. Contact help@nick-handyman.com for data access or deletion questions. Local photos and exported/shared PDFs can remain in copies you or recipients retain.

Children and changes

JobFlow is intended for service professionals and is not directed to children under 13. Updates to data practices will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
